DaveK Posted February 3, 2007 Share Posted February 3, 2007 Just cleaned my g/f's car (and found that 97 Ford Ka's don't like English weather - there is a rust problem at the bottom of the drivers door). Gave the Supra a quick wash - but don't have many other plans. Might go to the gym, but don't really like going at weekends and I did go yesterday. Might ask my g/f to cook a chocolate cake I think. Then I cleaned it. Was supposed to be meeting RisingSunSupra south of Brum to give him my old door cards, but ended up being given 4 drawings to update for a meeting on Monday. Pete has the lurgi anyway so I don't feel as bad for cancelling the trip. Going to a 60th birthday party tonight for some crazy woman Lucy works with. Then I've got a rehearsal with a new side-project band tomorrow night. My mate's g/f has a punk band and needs a drummer for a gig at the end of March. She emailed me a couple of tracks and it's old-school fast punk stuff. I reckon my trademark double-bass triplets and general death metal style should liven things up a bit, lol. I'm quite looking forward to it - the stuff I'm doing with CopperBomb is becoming way more complex now we've gotten used to each other (the song we've been writing this last few weeks has about 5 tempo changes in 3 minutes!)
