Chris Wilson
900 quid to replace 4 Pirellis that were only 20 laps old, but were flat spotted in my off at Oulton in the Skyline last year. One rear is just about usable as an emergency spare, the others were down to the canvas or more.... Add in the 3k of body and other damage, and it made for an expensive day out

Homer
How did they get flat spotted Chris? Was it a case of going sideways or was the ABS off?

Sheefa
Not good mate. At least it's an expense that will be put to good use again. Still, that'll teach you to drive more carefully like me won't it. Greg

RedM
Yet you still go on about us Supra owners doing more tracks days! I suppose you'll be hoping Greg does something to his car soon eh?
Chris Wilson
Not good mate. At least it's an expense that will be put to good use again. Hopefully, yes, and I had to buy them as it's run out of MOT. Still, that'll teach you to drive more carefully like me won't it. Greg Hmmm, maybe..... Driving carefully is not really in my nature on a track day. It's hard enough driving carefully on the roads, given a clear track I find I sometimes get a bit carried away! I have yet to find anything really enjoyable that doesn't have an element of risk, so I take it as one of lifes hazards and try not to do it too often
