3G Motorola v3x Phone

Okay,

Now I've finally upgraded to a W850i after much debate, I'm getting rid of my Motorola V3X.

It has been on business contract for the past 18 months, and as such as been subject to waranty swop outs. Any minor faults have resulted in me making sure I get a new phone. The current one I have is possibly a recon (since warranty swop outs might not be a new one), and it is only 3 months old.

It is in good condition. Has two tiny marks on the very top smaller than 1mm. Battery life is good I feel for a 3G phone, I get roughly two days out of it in a not so strong signal area.

The phone is currently locked to Orange, however I'm running the latest firmware directly from motorola as I have updated it via RSD to the latest version available. I have removed all the Orange branded crap. The latest firmware I have found to be rock solid stable without the phone crashing ever. I have also solved the original problem orange had with the preditive voice dialing, which is very cute. You don't need to save the voice dialing to the phone, it can actually understand the name.. this works suprisingly well it turns out.

I can if wanted, supply the firmware updating/editing tool on a CD as well, but if you fiddle with the firmware, you are on your own, much like I was. Very difficult to brick the phone, but never impossible so I won't take it back if you brick it doing a firmware. There is plenty of info on MotoModders website http://www.motomodders.net

I have also managed to encode video so the phone can play video's, including a full episode of Las Vegas (40min), did it just to see if it can be done.

Included with it...

128MB TransFlash card

Headphones/handsfree kit

110/240v charger

USB Datacable.

Cheers Gav
