michael
It wants the number for your dial-up connection, the PDA will just use the mobile as a modem, you give the PDA the number and it tells the mobile phone to dial it.

johnnyknox
I think you need to get the number from your service provider Jamie (for example Vodafone or Orange...etc)

michael
If your house is an internet service provider that might work but you need to get hold of an account with a proper ISP that offers dial-up. Chances are your current one will do a pay as you go type thing on an 0845 number. Remember in the old days before broadband - you used to have the computer dial a number, it made noises, hissed, crackled and then connected at a really slow speed while going boing boing boing... that's what you are aiming for here. You won't be able to use your existing connection that you are on now.
