PDA bluetooth

Trying to connect my pda to my phone via bluetooth to get online with it but the pda asks for my phone number, when i enter it and connect them my phone dials my number:search:... what number should i be entering? any ideas where im going wrong if anyone understood that:D

If your house is an internet service provider that might work but you need to get hold of an account with a proper ISP that offers dial-up. Chances are your current one will do a pay as you go type thing on an 0845 number.

 

Remember in the old days before broadband - you used to have the computer dial a number, it made noises, hissed, crackled and then connected at a really slow speed while going boing boing boing... that's what you are aiming for here.

 

You won't be able to use your existing connection that you are on now.
