A good quality marker will be about £500 upwards but it's all the kit you need i.e. electric hopper, co2 or air tanks, team kit, harnesses, pots, squeegies, goggle systems etc. You gotta keep up with the latest trends. £2K can evaporate before you've set foot on a tournie field. And then you may find that you're actually quite crap at it. We often had guys who were afraid to pull the trigger because it cost them money. A tournament team can't do that.
