SteveR Posted January 30, 2007 Share Posted January 30, 2007 Shefa recommended a place in Warwick to me; 'P.L. Carbodies' (01926 407067). They tidied his car up and when I visited them they seemed to know their stuff, have very impressive facilities (and very busy - mainly with main dealer repairs - got to be a good sign?). They weren't horrendously expensive; nor were they cheap, but I'm guessing you don't want cheap. Chris Wilson recommended a place in Whitchurch called 'MW of Whitchurch'. I spoke to a chap called Phil Wragg there and they sounded very, very clued up, but I never went for a qoute as they were too far for me. Can't remember the numbe but I'm sure Chris will if you call him as he uses them himself (they fixed his Skyline after his 'off' at Donnington). I'll have a word with Greg I've sold my right testicle to build a nice little sum of money to get this bodywork done, although not full respray money, I want someone who I can trust to do the job properly first time and are also confident they can match my paint! They stripped down and resprayed my entire bonnet, pulled out 3-4 dents and mopped, blew and polished the whole car for £680 cash. Well worth it as when it came out it looked like the car had a whole respray! The guy's name there is Phil iirc, I'll check tonight. They do incurance work for Prestige Cars like Lotus and BMW. Trust me bud, if you had your car resprayed there, you'd be a very happy man! Chris also mentioned, as Steve R said, a place in Whitchurch to me. But the comment was that their work is very expensive but faultless. Locally, I'd give PL Carbodies a shout for a quote mate. Cash works well too Take care and hope to catch up soon. Im looking for quite a bit of work to be done - bonnet, front bumper, side skirts and the front arches too. A full mop over the car would be cool also. He's had 3 cars sprayed by them before and is more than happy with the work they've done. I reckon they'll be able to deffo sort you out for that price range, even if they only blow/mop some of panels - sideskirts. Worth a shot matey. silvershark44 Posted January 31, 2007 Share Posted January 31, 2007 Kingdom developments, near newark,notts. They have done lots of mag cover cars in the past. I went there for a quote a couple of years back, seemed reasonable but never had the work done as i sold the car instead moving onto better things.
