Alan999
Just thought I would let you all no I renewed my insurance in at the begining of this month. My renewal quote was £880 from Admiral. I ended up getting it for £630 with protected No Claims and breakdown cover with Adrian Flux. I did spend a day on the phone and spoke to at least 18 diff companys and found these and Sainsburys to be the best quotes I had. Hope this helps if anyone else is looking. SupraAyf
Did you try A-Plan and SKY. I wouldn't go with SKY myself but I would be keen to know the numbers quoted?

SupraAyf
I don't think that quote is at all bad considering age and the fact that you've got an RZ;)

I am with Admiral, after a heated discussion the other day came off the phone with a "just dont write it off attitude" They will only ever pay out the book price on your car if it gets written off. If you declare extras like expensive alloys after market exhausts etc they will charge you more to cover you but will NOT take the extras into consideration on payout. So I would imagine if you had a 1996 TT with 45k miles on it with various after market gear you would be lucky to get 4 -5 k off them

Theres so many things that they try to have you over with.
