Pete Posted January 29, 2007 Share Posted January 29, 2007 Ours has started making horrible banging noises and stopped spinning. I took the back and top off and the springs, concrete bolts, shock absorber all seem fine. On closer inspection of the drum itself the inner bit seems to be loose and not attached somehow. I'd have thought it would've been attached to the centre bit at the back or something. I can't see how to get into the drum or see how it would dismantle. Am I wasting my time? Should I just go and buy a new one I suppose 9 years isn't bad for a washing machine. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Parts are quite cheap really, it's just a matter of doing it. I wouldn't pay for someone to repair it. I much more of a DIY guy.
