Eric Kasir
What is the 'icebox for MKIV air intake'? Eric
Branners
it is basically a large aluminium (or similar) enclosure into which you fit the HKS or Blitz air filters and it then uses the stock cool air holes to bring nice cool air directly to the air filter without it sucking all the hot air in from around it. I believe the one in the states runs without a top cover so when you lift the bonnet you can see the air filter, but then the bonnet is shut it seals itself against the bonnet. If you have an aftermarket airfilter I would recommend getting one. I know I would (if I had an aftermarket air filter). I can probably find the web site with more info if people are interested. Branners
perhaps this needs its own discussion, Eric, do you fancy opening up a new topic about this in the technical section? JB
