merckx
Can anyone confirm that this is the correct sump plug for fitting a temperature sensor. I know the internal thread is okay, but is 12x1.25 the correct Supra fitment? http://www.blitz-uk.co.uk/ProductItem-406.aspx
Tricky-Ricky
A lot of sensors and pressure take offs use 1/8 NPT so you should be OK. sorry would help if i read it properly:blush: not sure though it was M10 but i could be wrong.
Angarak
I have a 1/8"NPT Female to M12*1.25 Male on my car (95 JDM TT) and it costs £5.99 from LMA Group (Part No: LMA086).

Thanks for that I had set on getting one of these but I've started to think about the sandwich plate method. Can't make my mind up now.
Tricky-Ricky
In my experience of using a sandwich plate for sensors, it seems to me that pressure wise you tend to get a higher pressure reading due to the restrictions in flow by the filter and smaller oil gallery's, and the same goes for temp, extra heat from block and head, i think sump will be lower temp and a better representation of avarice temp.
