Sump plug with temp sensor?

In my experience of using a sandwich plate for sensors, it seems to me that pressure wise you tend to get a higher pressure reading due to the restrictions in flow by the filter and smaller oil gallery's, and the same goes for temp, extra heat from block and head, i think sump will be lower temp and a better representation of avarice temp.
