Green Peace
My Racing Harts are looking in a very poor state just 6 months from purchasing them, the chrome is discoloured for whatever reason.. Sop I need to do something about it? Do I A. go back to the company that sold them to me and claim on the warrenty Or B. get them rechromed as its thonly the chrome bits that have been affected, if so where can I find this kind of service and how much will it cost me? What should I do? Si Edited for spelling.....and slightly improved he he

Marco
Why dont you try polishing it with some metal polish? My wheels were in a bad state, they looked very dull! So I used autoglym metal polish and they came out just like new.
Green Peace
I will try and get some pics Jason, I have tried chrome cleaner, and the discolouring wont budge. I already have one replacement front wheel on order from Gaz that was scuffed and appently couldn't be repaired it seems if they do get scuffed there dosn't seem to be anyone who can repair them...or I certainly havent found anyone. This replacement wheel has to be paid for by the valating company that damaged it....I know this is going to prob end up in a small claims court because they are not happy about me replacing the wheel, rather than having it repaired ...but everyone I phoned or visited said they couldn't repair them. Darren
Which bits are in a bad state.....? The alloy bits on these wheels are not lacquered so they do not like salt very much!

Supragal
Si- what were you cleaning them with? What are you meant to clean chrome wheels with? I don't want this happening to my SSRs!!
Supraguy
Thing is, I think I was the first to buy the Racing Hart CRs on the BBS. Mine still look pristine / mint, although mine isnt a daily driver. Makes me question cleaning compounds though.
