tbourner
Can we petition for another test - comparing one of our highest tuned Supras against a McLaren SLR or something! That'd be cool.

Chewie
I emailed Top Gear about the Ace Cafe Supra meet back in November but never received a reply...not even a thanks but no thanks Three years ago I was in the studio audience for filming of Top Gear. It was the one where the Toyota Hilux gets blown up on the block of flats. During filming breaks Clarkson & Co mingle with the crowd for natter. So we went to natter with Jezza with questions he's heard a million times over. 'What do you drive?' he asks me. 'A Supra.' I said 'Oh yes one of those.' Then he carried on talking to my mate's Yank girlfriend about America. Does this help explain? Otherwise a rib tickling day out watching three blokes take the piss out of eachother and everybody. /vbb/images/smilies/bbcode_grin.gif /vbb/images/smilies/bbcode_grin.gif

merckx
isnt this the episode where he called the supra a "second division footballer's car" ? Back in 1994, Darren Peacock, the ex Newcastle and QPR player had a white one. My brother saw him at the Newcastle training ground in it. Newcastle were in the Premier League then though.
