supra650
After having owned this car for 1.5 years i have reluctantly decided that the time has come to sell my car. I am selling as i am currently trying to start up another business which means that the only car at home for my wife to drive is the sup, and as we all know it is not the most practical of cars so often she cant take it out. I am looking to go back to a 4x4 for the moment but will be back with another one at some time. Dont really know what its worth but anyone interested make me an offer and we will see but i will probably see what happens on ebay. Here is my Toyota Supra, this is not a car its a rocket. The acceleration on this is quite amazing, and you will not be able to sit there and not smile from ear to ear. I have owned it for about a year and a half and everytime i drive it i get an adrenaline rush. You will not be dissapointed with the performance. It has been heavily modified as follows: Bomex front bumper, This has been cut and re fibreglassed so that it has more cooling to the intercooler, (photos to follow) not as photos below. Bomex side skirts Bomex rear spats Pillar pod with Blitz boost gauge, and Blitz exhaust gas temperature gauge. Autogauge above dash rev counter and shift light. Passenger side gauges, Boost pressure,Oil pressure, and Oil temperature. with Ultra speed meter. Front, front wings, side skirts could do with flick over with paint, some of which i have, due to stone chips and some variation in colour which you get on all body kits. Custom made front mount intercooler 100mm x 300mm x 600mm. Intercooler hardpipe kit. Blitz boost controller. Speedo needs to be converted to MPH. TRD fibreglass bonnet. Unknown rear spoiler, But also not many about only 3 in country that i know of so will not get common. Aftermarket exhaust about 3.5 inch with 5 inch tailpipe , good on motorways yet comes alive when accelerating. 18" Alloys only about 8 months old Front tyres 225/40/ZR18 Michelin Back tyres 285/30/ZR18 Pirelli P Zero Rosso. Adjustable Racing Gear suspension, which i prefer to the hks coilovers which i had on my previous supra, this type of suspension is often used for track use in Japan. Veilside gear knob. Momo Race steering wheel. Bride Racing seats. Uk spec brakes. Custom painted headlights with 4" induction tube. HKS Cam gears. Aftermarket paddle clutch. 2 Additional purple injectors controlled by blitz multi assist computer system. Apexi aftermarket air filters. Twin Greddy/Trust TDO5H-18G Turbos, These are capable of producing about 800bhp, car is producing 500bhp at only 1.1bar, these can go to about 2 bar so there is plenty of power to come. Stainless steel Tubular exhaust manifold. External wastegate and 50mm screamer pipe. This makes the most awesome sound ever. Greddy type R blowoff valve. Aftermarket fuel pump. Bigger cam breather. Metal pedals. Later spec rear lights with integrated fog lights. Sony Cd, and mini disc player with remote control.(jap unit) Upgraded DLS speakers. Mileage at time of advertising so may go up slightly is 51553. Manual six speed gearbox. Tinted back and side rear windows. Clifford 650 cat 1 alarm with intellistart and inbuilt turbo timer. New cambelt. Paypal and cash accepted but car will only be released when the money including cash is actually in my account. A non refundable deposit of £500 must be paid within 24hrs of winning bid, and the remainder to be paid within a week. Includes personal plate H9 SUP Viewing is highly recommended but if you can find a dry day it would be better to feel the real power of this car. Please note No one else will drive this car except me untill they actually own it, dont care what you have or have driven before you will not be driving it, if you dont like this then dont bid. This car is sold in good faith and is in good working order as far as i know. there will be no refunds or comebacks. More photos of modified front and interior photos to follow soon. Here is a little video clip of my car. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=230082345877

mkirby
little optamistic on the potencial power as they will make a max of 600 poss 650 bhp but they are a cracking set of turbos, i was running a pair of them and they spool very quickly for a thrust bearing turbo also although i understand about not wanting someone to drive it but i know i wouldnt buy a car without driving it and possible most others as well, best way around it if there serious is to make sure they come with the right insurance to cover your car fully comp for a test? what sort of money are you after?? and has it had any internal work done? cheers Mike

I dont think i am being over optamistic on potential power unless envy performance, abbey motorsport and a good few other respected tuners dont know what they are talking about as this is the power they instantly told me these would make. I dont make up figures and also make sure i have asked quite a few others for their opinion before making wild claims. the turbos are quoted as being able to create 400-450bhp each and when i first got the car and started looking up the turbos I saw a few conversions where they had been fitted and were running these figures. As below. http://www.importtuner.com/powerpages/0405it_350z_tuner/ Quote: For our next round of performance goodies we got serious. We decided to install a GReddy 350Z twin turbo kit and see if we could produce some real supercar-like power. The GReddy turbo kit centers around two TD05H-18G turbos, capable of producing enough airflow to produce over 700 horsepower! Such a huge horsepower gain was one of the key elements in our decision to go with the GReddy turbo kit. It comes complete with cast turbo manifolds utilizing GReddy Type-T external wastegates. The bit about driving it is mainly for some of the dreamers and boy racers that frequent ebay. if someone had the correct insurance then i would look at it differently. Internal work dont think so but work was done in japan, i have not done nothing to internals. Cheers

Cheers Its a great turbo kit, the 18g turbo can flow enough air to make around 350bhp each so yes around 700 bhp in total but thats on a test bench so allowing for a 3 ltr engine running 2 of them you will never make the optimum power, also 2 bar on them will just be blowing hot air as there rated upto 1.6 possibly 1.7 bar, on my car i actually made more power at 1.6 bar than we did when we over boosted to 1.8 bar which was a little mental. Oh and the 350z which has them fitted in the link if you look at the dyno made 350 bhp Not having a go mate its a great twin setup and very under rated and under used, mainly down to the fact the turbos are old technology but there also very robust and last for ages!! Have you got any idea of price yet? Mike

Mike Im not trying to hype it up and know little about these things only going by what i have been told and and also links like this, where they are rated at 400bhp each. Unless i am reading it wrong. http://www.turbochargers.com/Turbos/TurboUpgrades/18G.htm Oh and the 350z which has them fitted in the link if you look at the dyno made 350 bhp Sorry dont see the relevants of this ? You have already said they can make more than this !! Thanks for you advice and opinion anyway. Nice house by the way Thanks mate I have my reserve set at £16500 on ebay and will see what if any offers i get. There is a few other cars on there that have less spec and are going for £14995. Plus it is the best colour and not just the common old silver No doubt this will also open up a can of worms. LOL.
