CardiffSupra
Thing is i dont like giving my details out, They will have my name address and bank details. I dont feel right letting someone on ebay knowing that tbh.
hogmaw
but all those details are on your cheques ie no security problem with that. They do not need to know your home address
edge
Ebay is getting scary now. The amout of scams out there. The spoof emails are getting high tech with java scripts to hide links.

Graham S
I've always thought this, don't they need your account number and sort code. Isn't that enough for someone to get money off you?
paul ashton
I'm presuming this is through paypal right?
CardiffSupra
No, bankers transfer, that means he needs my account No and Sort code, Iv told him to send a postal order if he wants it fast.
hogmaw
That means going to the post office, what a pain. Now then. YOU CANNOT GET ACCESS TO A BANK ACCOUNT WITH JUST AN ACCOUNT NUMBER AND SORT CODE Unless you want to put money IN :-)
Jake
As said above, your account number, name and sort code are on every cheque you write - it's not a security risk! Get him to pay it into my bank if you're worried and I'll send you the money. L L JACOBS Account Number: 05052815 Sort Code: 54-10-34 (See, I don't care if the whole world sees my bank details)
