Ian, take a look here: http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=82442

Thats not a bad time to be honest, this weather isn't idea for drag racing! What was your terminal? Thats the one that really shows how quick your car is.

Did you drop your tyre pressures and get a good burnout beforehand? It makes a huge difference to the grip even on street tyres.

The best I crossed the line at was 89mph.

I was hopin to get into the 14s , cos my best before was 15.2 and that was a slippy day too.

Whats a good time for a standard N/A?

I dropped the pressure to 29psi on the back but didnt do a massive burnout at the start.

(cant afford to keep replacin the tyres all the time)

oh well never mind.

Ill hopefully be havin a new exhaust system fitted by turbofit before my next run.

Anyone have any ideas of what is best to go for (bearing in mind ill be havin a T70 conversion hopefully before next year)?

Is 15.6 and 89mph terminal typical for an N/A then?

I would of thought they'd be in 14's.

My Ibiza Cupra 1.8T @ 21psi boost - 225bhp runs 14.8 at 96mph

My MG ZR Mk1 (2.0litre Turbo Conversion @ 13psi boost) - 210bhp 14.9 at 93mph

And i'd have thought an N/A would be quicker, I know rolling 60mph it would but those times surprise me.

Whats average for stock TT?
