JamieP
Hey bud, In what way are you modding the oil pump.. is this one from Dusty?
grahamc
Not sure you will hit 500 with that only... May need hybrids at the minimum... seems very similar to my build, which will start at the end of feb, except I am going for standard internals... My other differences: HKS Fuel system 680cc, pump, lines, rail, etc LINK ECU (not as good as AEM, but cheaper, and just as capable) Hybrid turbos FMIC Exhaust Induction Brake system - lines, oem discs, CW fast pads clutch and flywheel... Sounds good!! would be very interesting to compare... Where you having yours done?
Pig
Who is doing the build Jon? Good luck by the way The build will be done by Turbofit. Hey bud, In what way are you modding the oil pump.. is this one from Dusty? Thats correct. I fugured it wouldnt be much more for the modified one than a new stock one! Dont suppose you have any idea on price for the new water pump?

charlton
Boost logic Damn, I'm after the Nur Spec if I dont sell my car because my exhaust looks the part but is 'quiet' and was thinking of a swap

Pig
What is it? you got any pics. I want one thats subtle as well as quiet!
Bobbeh
Sounds like a cool build.. how come you need a quiet exhaust? Veilside Ti is good for being quiet and doesnt stick out at all. Dunno if you can get them these days tho.
Terminator
Quiet exhausts generally are more restrictive and therefore robbing power. You may wish to consider a system that gives you a more subtle exhaust note with a bung fitted and more raw power with the bung removed. I am going to add a silencer to my 1000BHP car so I can keep the neighbours sweet and have a free flowing system with the silencer out when I need out and out power. I think when I have the silencer section made up it will take 10 -15 minutes to take out and replace, using a gun, 20 -25 with just spanners. Ric
Dont suppose you have any idea on price for the new water pump? I got mine for 57quid from a local motor factors mate, Blueprint item
johnd-mkiv
Can have a go at making a silencer baffel for yours mate will need the car for a day/half though. made them for my 300zx just unbolt them an pull them out. or I can make another baffel to go in the pipe with flanges each end to allow you to bolt a straight through pipe back in
Pig
Need a quiet exhaust as im sick of the noise. The main issue is one that looks nice and subtle because the boost logic looks way too big on a stock car
supradibbs
sounds good john i will be at turbofit starting the build on mine beginning off feb so i will see you there one bit off advise running that power i would suggest ou upgrade from stock wheels alot of power for the standard rears i feel
Pig
Been a big worry of mine! I dont want to change to stock look though. I think ill end up with VERY sorft tires and not use her in the wet
