jamesmark
Has she not got a careers officer at her school that will tell her what Uni's will require for to study law, I know when I was at school they had them. Mathematics and English will be a must.
mr lover
To be honest the teachers seemed hopeless they were only intrested in her taking there subject, well it felt like that, she is happy to take Mathematics and English Literature likes them both, she also liked the presentations for Psychology and Philosophy and Ethics but they didn't seem to be able say if they were suitable for her future or not. Guest mk47
Well to do law at college she has to have good maths and english qualifications between a-c, also she does not have to do law at college to pursue it at uni, although itll be good for her if she were to do it. i did law for a levels and it was so much fun the whole 2 years. she will definately enjoy it also to see what other qualifications the uni wants, its usually in ucas points (worked out by her grades) but many uni's minimum expectations are different so its best to check with what unis she is more likely to go to. She is on the case already, been on the internet since she came home, it is nice to hear a selction of opinions though especially from people that have done or are doing it. Snooze
http://www.timesonline.co.uk/article/0,,4003-2452121,00.html Suggests traditional academic subjects rather than vocational ones.
