So you'd agree that jumping on the racist band wagon everytime ain't really working?

I do agree that PC has gotten way out of hand, Inheritance Tax is wrong, Speed Camera's only generate money....

...the list can go on.

But racism is sadly still somthing that we all have to live with in this country, be it against White people, Black people or Asian people.

Paul - seems like you find the attitude of the 3 bitches in BB against Shilpa acceptable?

Some of their comments were racially motivated; they were bullying her, she was in tears so obviously wasn't comfortable with their slurs.

Obviously Shilpa comes from an educated upper class of society so isn't used to dealing with low-life trash celeb wannabies....so dont expect her to steep down to their trashy level in order to shut them up (back in India, you'd just get trash like that sorted out ;) if you know what I mean) :D

Jade might as well book a one way ticket to India......(think she was being egged on by the other two, however she is far too stupid and deserves everything that she gets)

Cruel thing is that the media have the power to create a Jade (worth 8M) and then in a matter of a couple of weeks, completely bring her back down to her reality = trash.

Best publicity stunt that Ch4 ever pulled.......fantastic for them.

I just heard Jade has just donated her BB fee to charity.

I propose that in the next 6 months Jade will:

1 - visit India in an anti-racism peace mission

2 - start a global anti-bullying campaign

3 - compete with Jordan to have the biggest inflatable tits

It's the BB house, it's a load of crap anyway and Shilpa is no better than the rest, after all she went in there so must be as desperate as them?

'Upper class' in India, what's that then, about 50 grand for a mansion and 10 quid a week per servant? If she moved over here she'd be living in worse conditions that Jade came from?

I don't think that what the three girls did was right but it was simply bullying which is what BB is all about, making divisions, creating groups and then turning it into some crap TV programme.

I didn't like that Shilpa from the start, not because of her race but it was clear she wanted to dominate and thought she was better than everyone else. Maybe in India people arse lick her all the time but she and Jade clearly battled for control of the house. The row blew up and she clearly wasn't gonna win it with three against her so she dipped in her pocket and pulled out her race card!

When she mentioned that she felt it could have been racial at the time she knew what that would do to Jade yet later she withdrew the comment and accusation, doesn't this show that she wasn't sure in the first place so should have kept her gob shut until she was?

Jades a thick nasty bitch, was before all this but that Shilpa is a dodgy piece of work, pretty obvious what game she has and will play;)

"Fuck off home" as a comment IS racist. It means "get out of our country", it's what extreme right wing groups have been saying for years. IMO it is racist whoever it is applied to, if I were in India and someone said it to me, I would understand it to mean all the above, i.e. "Get back to your own country, where you belong"

If Danielle didn't mean to be racist, she would have said "She should fuck off out of this house" but she didn't. The question is, is Danielle too thick to really understand what she was saying?

Seems some people in Mumbai feels the same

Bollywood filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt in Mumbai's DNA newspaper: "I believe no-one can insult you without your permission. Shilpa Shetty has paid the price for trying to desperately seek the approval of the West.

"It is pathetic how we can go on bended knees and lick the boots of Westerners in an effort to be part of their world."

Shilpa might have career troubles also when she returns.

I feel a bit sorry for Jade. Look at her mum and her upbringing- what chance did she ever have? To have made what she has of herself ie millions from being thick etc I think it good going.

Yes she's a mouthy, pushy cow, but in the first BB that was what people liked about her.

Racist? I don't think she's got enough brains. She doesn't like her and made some stupid comments no doubt but if it had been a fat bird that she had called something food related there would not have been this fuss.

I hate they way things get blown out of proportion like this.

Of course I've not really been watching it so I may have missed something huge.

I beg to differ. I "**** off home" every night after work. I'm not convinced that she meant it like that. Maybe but not for sure. Spur of the moment, no-one thinks through comments like that.

I totally agree it's got to ridiculous proportions now.

Actually when the helicopter was flying around outside the house on last night's show and Dirk said 'At least we know the world doesn't have any serious problems' he's more or less right.

It's January, apart from the usual news about Iraq there has been no major world events so the media is focusing on the house.

Same happened with the Jodie Marsh/Michael Barrymore thing last year.

How do you know; have you been to India? have you ever mingled with the upper class in either India or Pakistan.

I think you will be pleasantly surprised......

else, carry on speculating, you seem to be pretty comfortable with that ;)

no offence intended but just for your information, no 50 grand certainly dont buy u a mansion in India. Infact the cost of houses and flats in the big cities of India are on par with London and New york rates.

Is that correct? If so, then it does surprise me given that the income levels are so much lower than in the UK.

Not wishing to argue here but according to this that apartment is around £51k and certainly nowhere near on a par to the cities you mentioned.

As said the level of income in India is alot lower and thanks Imi but it wasn't an assuption but we've got an Indian chap at work and we were chatting the other day and he actually mentioned that for silly money you could get a really nice place out there.

Not sure about variations in regions but when the average salary is loads less than the UK are you honestly telling me that places go for tens of millions of pounds over there? Not just one example but in general like over here.

CJ, on the average you could get apartments for the mid range like £51K but that is a small apartment and it is indeed very cheap and probably located in the outskirts. Not very uncommon to find apartments upward of £1million in the good locations of the big cities. Fairly simple really, with the sheer population combined with the amount of money people are making these days, prices are bound to be high.

Regarding the income levels, its important to understand that there is an enormous gap in income levels between the upper and mid class which you would find in many of the developing countries. Accordingly, if one were to look for a spacious apartment in a good location, the prices can be disproportionately high.

TBH, I am struggling to see your argument here. That apartment I just linked to is hardly small and with amenities like a Gym, Vaastu Compliant, Club House, Reserved Parking, Power Back Up, Security, Lift, Water Storage, Swimming Pool etc it hardly seems to be a shed eh?

That coupled with the fact that it is a city like Mumbai really does knock your statement that there is parity between the prices of large Indian cities and that of NYC or London. There is absolutely no way you could buy anything like that for that sort of money in London.
