Jake
yeah, they're hi-join 147a I've got a set of them. They aren't the best wheels. They're heavy and the finish on them is easily damaged.
AntzRowe
how much they worth jake? As im after a fairy cheap set for time being until I can afford a set of wheelmania pacifics or racing harts.
Jake
I paid £500 for mine with a decent set of used tyres. Unfortunately I left the wheels with some brake dust on them for two weeks while I was away working in Ireland. By the time I got back lots of the 'chrome' finish had fallen off. They're pretty much scrap now.
AntzRowe
are they that bad yeah? surely they cant be worse looking then the stock 16" wheels! Why did they not make larger wheels as standard for the supra (I know the UK were 17" but for the import) as they really look too small for the car IMO. Jake
Back in 1993 I guess 16" and 17" were huge! Bigger than 17" doesn't help the handling on a Supra anyway
AntzRowe
always been a big fan of big wheels on cars im afraid, so it'll be 18's im after. Rather looks over performance to be honest.
gooner
whilst on the subject of wheels - every black supra I've seen has chrome alloys - has anyone ever seen one with gold? Just curious as I'm looking to change mine, and like to be a bit different, so I was thinking of gold - however, because I've never seen one with gold its hard to know if it'd look nice?
