Gadget
Have been looking into getting a new battery with more power, I have been told the Optima produces nearly double the power. Does anybody have one of the optimas or does anybody have any opinions on them??
DaveK
They are THE battery to have on the Porsche forum - all the guys in the States use them.
SupraStar 3000
I WAS going to buy one, but when you think about it,.... why bother. Halfords give a 2yr guarantee for a £60 jobbie that probably won't last a year anyway,.... so thats free batteries for aslong as you want Envy sell optima. GeordieSteve
I've just bought a Varley red top 60 which is supposed to be great but at £300 it's a bit expensive
Gamer
Jesus, it better be for good for £300. I thought the Optima was expensive.
SupraJames
The Exide Maxxima's are also supposed to be very good and slightly cheaper than Optima's, again its a deep cycle battery, aimed more at the ICE market, more than heavy duty starter battery. I have also used one of them, my only complaint with that one was the terminals were not on the correct sides for the Supra. Not a big deal but a bit of a hassle.
