domdotcom
i was thinking of a tow bar on a supra, to pull a trailer tent. Ready for JAE this summer. What do you think? Any suggestions...
Kittyclaws
will you be wearing socks with sandals when you tow your trailer
juanchan
I'd go with the big pic of a Supra pulling a trailer in the hand book. The big cross through it and the words "we do not recommed towing with your Toyota Supra" would put me off it personally Make sure you wear those sandals though if you decide to go ahead with it

domdotcom
I'd go with the big pic of a Supra pulling a trailer in the hand book. The big cross through it and the words "we do not recommed towing with your Toyota Supra" would put me off it personally whys that then, is that the supra has that much torque power that it will rip/twist the trailer tent/caravan to shreds or what, i have no handbook so do not know the actual reason for it bud... foodfreak
There's a Tow bar specialist in Park street village, Herts (Can't remember the name) that do detachable towbars for the Supra. Had one on my u.k Auto car for 8 years to tow a small trailer. had no problems at all. It doesn't look great, but with Kids & holidays, it's the only way to be practical. That's all the handbook says on the subject sorry mate! Big pic, big words, the next topic! It gives no explanation whatsoever . Maybe it was a warranty-voiding type thing back when they were new cos Toyota never bothered to test them whilst towing? I'll have another look when I get home just in case... hadyn
Ive got one on my supra, unfortunately inherrited from the previous owner. Ive cut most of it off, but still need to remove the whole rear bumper to detach the bloody tow bar frame from the chasis to remove it:(
