Guest mk47
as some of you may know ive recently fitted this. anyway it works fine and very happy with it, except the only thing i find is if i turn the car off and then start it again the cd that im playing starts again from the beggining, not from where it was when i turned it off. is there any way i can change this to remember where i stopped at? also the settings reset whenever i turn it off, i.e. the bass level, treble etc. tried to mess around with the menus but cant see where im going wrong
baldy
sounds like you have no permanent live to the unit

Guest mk47
sounds like you have no permanent live to the unit how does that work then?because i just connected it with the iso leads. It does. it does what?
baldy
i think on mine the permanent was separate to the iso,but without pulling the dash out im not 100 % on that
merckx
If you lose the settings only when you turn the ignition off it will mean you're losing the permanent 12v supply to the radio. The yellow wire is the permanent live. The red wire is the ignition switched live.
Guest mk47
Ok cheers people will check this over tomorrow. its so annoying as i have over 150 tunes on an mp3 cd and then having to navigate through it every time i turn the car off is pretty upsetting
Ric
Swap around the yellow and red feeds.
