A very low car and very hard ride will result, so don't be excpeting comfort or the ability to go over speed bumps at anything more than a crawl. Apparently handled well with that setup though. Syed Shah Posted June 15, 2004 Share Posted June 15, 2004 The black ones are the soft ones, the yellows the harder ones. Though even the black ones are harder than the export Supra suspension (UKs). Softer rear suspension is better on launches, as it allows weight shifting to occur, the rear end squats when this happens, as you can see on some US Supras on drag suspension setups. Did Toyota do two different types of shocks then? Black, soft and yellow hard?? Mr Keef, I saw your motor, and thought you nicked mine. Almost Identical, 'cept for the wheels. They had an adjuster ring on them but even at its highest setting his car was on the floor. I run Bilsteins and TRD springs and my car is very low as well and the ride is very harsh.
