terribleturner
Ok been out playing with fibreglass today, but a quick question. What's the best way of cleaning the brush afterwards?? Just hot soapy water?? Just tried white spirit but it just hardened up quicker. Anyone know??

JustGav
File it under b1n and find a new one. Yup, buy the cheapy paintbrushes, and then just get shot when finished..
Angarak
Thinners is rather good at removing the resin from the brush.
terribleturner
Thinners may work, i'll give it a shot. But i'll just go buy some new bushes tomorrow. Fingers are feeling slightly sticky now

DannyW
I got in right mess when i had to extend a pair of cheap ebay sideskirts by a couples inches once. I threw the brushes away after use and let the resin on my hands harden then picked it all off, rather therapeutic actually. I was high as a kite for a day afterwards though as i did it all on my kitchen floor without the windows being open (stupid i know) but it was about -3 degrees outside. MarkTheBoy
Accitone (spelling?) My dad used to make fibreglass boats, im sure he used that stuff. I think he just let them soak in it, don't think you will get gel coat or resin out completely though. Also my GF uses it to clean out her nail brushes and stuff. NB - I might be wrong
Jake
Thinners may work Thinners DOES work. I use it all the time. 2p worth or thinners each time or keep buying new brushes - easy choice.
