dazla
Well i cant believe she's gone guys. My little Yorkie had to be put to sleep yesterday due to her illnesses. She had cancer and lost her sight over over Christmas. It was so hard for me to except that she was at the end of the road as she was still a bundle of joy most of the time its just that her body had given up. Me and my partner took her to be cremated and it was absolutely heart wrenching. It was the hardest thing i've ever had to do. I watched her being put into the ovens and we had to wait for 1 hour for her ashes. Our house feels so empty and so does my heart. We also have a lurcher and she just keeps wondering around the house sniffing and looking for her. Its absolutly heart braking. I'm a totally broken man. I'll never forget you pixy. DannyW
My parents lost their 3 yorkies within a few months of each other a year or so ago, they were old (between 13 and 16) it's awful at the time. I swear it sent my mum a little bit mental. Chin-up though, it gets easier with time.

dazla
Thanks for the support guys. I no it was the best thing to do but i just miss her really bad. Its just that she was one in a million. I know everyone feels like that about there pets but she had an hard little life before she came to us. She was owned by bastard Gypsy's. They were caught kicking her about and actually left her behind, so my girlfriends nan took her and then we took her. god i just wana cry. Gazboy
It's one of those things that never gets easier with age- remember when you got stung by a nettle as a kid= end of the world, now = inconvieniance, but it always remain hard to let a pet go. Feel for you mate.
Kittyclaws
Sorry to hear this matey. My mum had to have her yorkie put to sleep last year as she was starting to suffer with old age(hearing, sight, mental state etc). My mum got up one morning and saw that Gizmo could not pick herself up, so she knew it was time for her to rest. She was 2 weeks away from her 17th birthday when she past away. Thinking of you and family pal

Havard
just packed all her toys and food bowl away in a box along with a little goodbye note. god this is hard:( Don't worry about being upset mate, I worry about people who show no emotion at all. We've met mate and i'd like to think that I don't look like the type of guy who gets upset but it's only five years ago I was a blubbering wreck in my back garden burying our rabbit "Lenny". Not good seeing them suffer!! The thing that upset me most was that he had made me laugh running round the house and attacking the dog. Our house had been like Tom and Jerry for about 18 months and then one morning he had some kind of fit in his cage and was gone!! The lads at work were taking the piss out of me and i told them the truth, if one of them had have kicked the bucket I wouldn't have noticed or been bothered but I actually enjoyed having the rabbit around. They weren't too pleased at that reaction! H.
merckx
i dont know if its just me but it feels worse than when i lost my nan. i just cant stop crying at the moment. I felt exactly the same when we lost our cat! Unfortunately they've got to go sometime, just remember that you gave the pooch a great home and you did all you could! It does feel so empty but you'll feel better as everyday passes.
