charlton
Its that time again and I'm dreading it as this will decide if the Supra stays or if it goes My premium was £2k when I got it but that was okay because I spent a grand less on the car than getting a UK spec which was a grand more but cheaper on the insurance. So far I have got my quotes down to £1625 (excess £750) with 1 year NCB and I'm 22 - its not bad but I'm sure it can be cheaper I've tried a lot of the major insurance companies/brokers and need help to keep my dream car - any suggestions? toyotasuprauk
I moved from Lancaster to sky this week. Sky were a little cheaper but I found Adrian Flux, Sky and Lancaster seem to give similar prices.
toyotasuprauk
BTW what supra do you have TT or NA? IMO £1625 with a £750 excess is insane! Its the mods that bump it up so much. Have you got a quote without the airfilter would be interesting to see how much extra they are charging for that.

Its an NA and I agree that its a bit too much - I'm aiming to get under £1500 and £500 excess
downimpact
try getting a classics policy, the car is old enough, you don't gain ncb but the insurance is usually cheaper, ideal for a second car.
lockys96
lancaster one is a classic policy, and you do get NCB, i have it in writing
