Jacob age 85, and Rebecca age 79 are all excited about their decision to get married.

They go for a stroll to discuss the wedding and on the way go past a pharmacy.

Jacob suggests that they go in.

He addresses the man behind the counter: "Are you the owner?"

The pharmacist answers, "Yes."

Jacob: "Do you sell heart medication?"

Pharmacist: "Of course we do."

Jacob: "How about medicine for circulation?"

Pharmacist: "All kinds."

Jacob: "Medicine for rheumatism?"

Pharmacist: "Definitely."

Jacob: "How about Viagra?"

Pharmacist: "Of course."

Jacob: "Medicine for memory?"

Pharmacist: "Yes, a large variety."

Jacob: "What about vitamins and sleeping pills?"

Pharmacist: "Absolutely."

Jacob: "Perfect!

We'd like to register here for our wedding gifts."

I have one

A seven year old boy was at the centre of a courtroom drama yesterday. He challenged a court ruling over who should have custody of him.

The boy has a history of being beaten by his parents and the judge initially awarded custody to his aunt, in keeping with the Child Custody Laws and Regulations requiring that family unity be maintained to the closest degree possible.

The boy surprised the court when he proclaimed that his aunt beat him more than his parents and he adamantly refused to live with her.

When the judge suggested that he live with his grandparents, the boy cried out that they also beat him.

After considering the remainder of the immediate family and learning that domestic violence was apparently a way of life among them, the Judge took the unprecedented step of allowing the boy to propose who should have custody. After two recesses to check legal references and confer with child welfare officials, the judge granted temporary custody to the English Cricket Team -

who the boy firmly believes are “not capable of beating anyone.”

I wish I could laugh but sadly a) I hate cricket and b) it wasn't funny.
