Ewen
lol chav at that age . no if it was a pic of your son , then what better reason for giving up , and that goes for mrs ewen as well Thats Tartan not Burberry:) Good sentiment there re the kids and stopping smoking Steve. Not sure if you know, but the kids have flown, daughters 21 in a couple of weeks, sons almost 20. When they were around, we smoked in another room, or outdoors (usually:innocent: ) but now they live away it opened the flood gates as it were....I stopped for loads of reasons, one of them was wanting to be around to see my kids KIDS grow up, so you are on the button. Just down to Wifelet now, but nowt doing so far. BTW, is it possible to put a stone on in 12 days due to not smoking ?

markjodrell
i know exactly what you mean i gave up for 4 years, drunken moment and like you was back on them:( trying to get my head together to try again:rolleyes: Smoking IS SO hard to give up due to the fact that the actual administering of the drug being so pleasurable. Its not like sticking a bloody needle in your arm. Its about quality of life, carry on smoking and if you make 60 years old the chances are you will be coughing and panting. However if I was diagnosed with some terminal type illness I would start smoking again immediatley. Get some nicotine chewing gum, but dont throw it out of the car window :D

gaz1
You do know that it takes more than that to light petrol? A cig butt is not enough to light petrol, even dropping it in petrol would still be hard to set it alight. Discovery Link yes but the vapours will ignite from a cigarette, i know this as my eyebrows went when i checked my moped tank when i was a kid:D
