Firstly its just bloody irresponsible littering, but what I really object to is doing 80mph on the M4 behind a t**t in a BMW who flicks his discarded butt out of the window which comes flying at my car windscreen! I have a 3yr old boy and when he was a baby it was NOT COOL to smoke around him! Now he's 3 it seems like it 's perfectly fine to fill his lungs with that shit!! I've recently told some members of my family and the in laws that our house is a no smoking area and if they don't like it then don't visit!! H. I don't understand anyone who does ANYTHING that affects someone else (noise, smoke, etc) and does not think about it!!! Asthma is a disease on the rise too so it can't all be smokers fault. i don't smoke but i think in the grand scheme of things there is a lot worse out there and i resent the whole nanny stateness of it. However i do object to tab ends flying out of car windows and on the street. it is nothing more than littering, its rude and its anti social and it makes me smile when people get the £50 fine for doing it heh heh m. Dane, it's nothing personal but I just don't understand the attraction!! I do accept your argument about pollution in general but that is a mixture of a lot of things, cars, domestic heating, industry, cow shit!!, but it's when you cannot go out in public or even to a family members house without having to breath in smoke. Smoking whilst driving = road traffic offence too??? You could get slapped with anything from Driving without due care and attention to Dangerous driving?? Plus have a consideration for motorcyclists ffs... must be wonderful having a lit ciggy land on your expensive leathers/suit. (Not to mention if one managed to get into/stuck to the visor lol). Smoking + Driving a Supra >Worse> Driving a Supra and not smoking ... But I tend to lose my good humour when the butt disappears into my engine bay...only the other day I found a dead butt in my airbox. Thank god it didn't send the cotton filter up in flames. If i quit this time around, it'll be the 3rd time and i'm only 27 I thought it was going to be hard as I had tried a few times before and I am 28 and have smoking since I was 16. You could do what I did and mark on a calender each day, how much you would have spent on cigarettes that day. You will be shocked at how quickly it adds up. It certainly made me determined not to throw that amount of money away anymore:blink: I also managed to convince my wife that it was a good idea to spend the money saved on Supra bits, so 4 months later, I now have a shiny RSR exhaust and a lovely set of alloys!
