edd_t
Right, can anyone recomend some earphones? The standard iPod ones are terrible. For the past year I've been using Sony MDR-EX71SLB Fontopia Headphones http://www.dabs.com/productview.aspx?quicklinx=2gby which are pretty cool. But the cable has now come loose and snapped. I really want another set of in-ear ones. So what do other people use?
Thorin
Shure E2c http://www.dabs.com/productview.aspx?Quicklinx=3FQQ&SearchType=1&SearchTerms=shure&PageMode=3&SearchKey=All&SearchMode=All&NavigationKey=0 Not cheap though and I'm sure I've seen them cheaper than that. E3c and E4c if you really want to spend more

jamesmark
I got some Sennheiser, hell of a lot better than iPod ones, a lot louder too.
michael
Sennheiser CX300's are good for a reasonable price. If your budget is more substantial the Shure E500PTH (or other Shure ones) are worth a look

IDO
I tried a couple of others when my sonys went (never used the ipod headphones..). went to a few audio stores etc and ended up going back with the sonys.. seemed to be best ones for the way i use them... to be honest i could tell the difference with more expensive sets but then i remembered that alot of the time when not using them i just bundle them up and shove them in my pocket! Thorin
The black ones are actually E2g's, the "Gaming edition" ones, supposedly optimised for PSP etc., no idea what the difference is other than colour.
