NUTKIN
Not sure if i need the whole rack or if the arms can be seperated from the rack. I have bent the arm an the track rod end can theses be replaced seperatly or is it the whole steering rack that i need. Please can someone advise me how much for a rack or seperate parts would be. Thanks NUTKIN
Jake
It's quite a straightforward job (unless you're a certain ex-trader I could mention ) Two bolts, one clamp, two track rod ends. It would take about an hour with the right tools. You'll need to get the tracking done ASAFP after fitting the new rack. Supra steering racks are very expensive new. Like over £600. Rob
TBH, I never asked, I knew it was balls at the time and they were just throwing a belt and braces repair at me, i.e. the PS doesn't work, change the rack.

absz
you can just undo the rod from the rack and replace it:) will save you replacing the whole thing.

JODY T
As Abs said you can unscrew the ends from the rack... Ive done loads... If you have the correct size spanner (or a nice set of grips) its very easy.... But it is tight.. IF you take off the rack boot you will see where the arm is at its thickest point it has flat spots on each side... Tip remove the grease with a rag... Spanner wont slip as much... Easy job...
