Suzuki Alto, my dad brought one last year and I told him the car would be a mistake (he has always had Land Rover Disco's etc during his 32 years at Land Rover and felt an ecomomy car was needed in retirement) and I have slowly watched the car dismantle itself, it has a value of around £1500 now on a 06 Plate!!!!, thats without mentioning how the thing drives, so to sum up I hate all those small very cheap Far east box cars, nasty

I had the displeasure of borrowing a Vauxhall Agila from my mates garage the other day. (Courtesy car).

Only thing good about it was when I reversed I was amazed by the visibility. You get used to not seeing much in the Supra.

 

Other than that it was the worst pile of shite I've driven in a long time (last one was a mk1 Punto). Cheap switch gear, dodgy wobbly gear selections, dreadful layout of dash - same shit as in novas 15 years ago! No power, crap on bends, bad radio, crap seat, etc.etc.

I just felt that car technology had moved on zero.

320d coupe on Monday night and parked it around the corner.!!!

 

Then again, the reason I don't indicate whilst driving it is that my hand is moving too fast!! So maybe you have a point!!

another one is any new car design of an old classic that just dosnt work. New beetle they just didnt hit the nail on the head. The new Mini its more of a "biggie" and as for that reversion of the italian job that was set in LA!

Pete, you're missing probably the most disgusting car ever made off that thread, well two actually pal.

 

Number 1 is the Fiat Multipla. It's so god damn frikking ugly I feel like buying one and smashing it up to smitherines for an anger release. Horrid.

 

Number 2, and another one from those magical Fiat people, is the Fiat Cinquecento. Again, damn right hideous with no design process or innovative thoughts behind its production. A box with wheels.

 

On the note about the Agila you drove, I think all Vauxhalls are disgraceful, and I mean appalling. I drove the new Astra and that was crap, the gearbox was clunky, non-responsive and the steering was terrible. Before that, I drove the Vectra to the Midlands Christmas meet we had and that slid around all over the place. I can't think of one good Vauxhall, maybe the Monaro, but that's it.
