Terminator
Both auto lights flashing is condidtion normal. If you have poor cooling I would suggest that your fluid is a little low and needs a recharge. It is very rear to need a complete refil. The pressure limits are quite large so the system has to be quite low to stop working altogether, you would notice a drop off in performance as the prerssure gets closer to the pressure swith limit particularly in summer, in winter it is harder to spot as drying is the function you want. An mod want to post the charts up for me as I can't hoost. I has my air con checked over three years ago and it was full. I use it every day and had it checked last week and I have not lost little my mate in the air con trade said it was not worth the few grammes to bring it back to full. Toyota air con systems are pretty reliable if you use them. No air con system likes it if you don't use it regularly. I recommend at least once a week for 10 minutes all year round. If you lay your car up over winter you need to run the air con regularly or you can expect to need a regas.

Kitt
Thanks for the responses I'll get the gas topped up and use the air-con more frequently now. My Supe is currently in the garage getting some new front shocks fitted and they have kindly lent me a beautiful, red, rusty, no door panelled Astra GTE Convertible with a drain-pipe for an exhuast !! Do I like cool or what !!!!!!!!!!! ( may trade in the Supe now ! )

Shovels
Can anyone help me out? Pressing the air con switch doesn't appear to make any difference. The engine doesn't labour or anything. I've looked at the sight glass, but can't see anything that resembles fluid. I ran the fault check that terminator suggested and get the following code: button: air flow from outside flash button: windscreen with heat symbol (bottom right of all buttons) flash the two buttons flash alternative. Does this mean that I am out of Gas???
