merckx Posted June 11, 2004 Share Posted June 11, 2004 I'm new to this aswell so not 100% Basic Performance Upgrade. An aftermarket exhaust and a decat(removing one or both catalysts and replacing them with straight through pipe). At least one cat will have to go back on temporarily so the exhaust emissions aren't too high for the MOT. You could need a restrictor ring in the decat pipes to stop the boost creeping up if you have the TT. I'm sure others members can advise you more.
