Too loud

Too fast

Too low

Too hard (the suspension :sly: )

Too much expense

Too much attention

Too bad for the environment

She HATES it :D

Anywhere we go together we always go in her Land Rover.

Yep same here, end up going in the might Micra (lilac! :D). She drives though :)

Mine absolutely hates it.......

... at the moment, well she is 8 months pregnant.. Finds it very difficult to get in and out and the ride does her no favours.

Normally she loves it, although she makes good use of the door handle when the loud pedal gets pressed. :)

Me and my ex-fiance actually split up over me wanting a Supra, it was nothing to do with the Supra mind - just the extra debt we didn't need at the time. It was the straw that broke the camels back and all that. With hindsight she was right to be fair.

After we split up and we sold our house I (ironically enough) then had enough money to buy a Supra, which I did.

We're still mates and when she saw it she absolutey loved it - I let her have a go too and she loved it even more!

She did drive round the block at 10mph though worried sick she mght curb my alloys. :D :d

do you think if i was to meet a new g/f around my age that when i turn up in the supra with a rather loud exhaust (single) that she would think, great a bloody racer type of person as they arnt really gona know a supra are they? Or will they go, cool nice car lol :)

:D :d Funny you should say that fella. After I split up with my ex I took this MILF out who lived next door to the building site we were developing.

I'd always been dead proud of my Sup but for the first time ever I was embarassed when I picked her up. She was 32 and I'm 26 and like you I still feel (& look ;) ) 21. I knew she wouldn't be impressed by my RSR exhaust so I popped the baffle back in.

She never commented once on the car apart from moaning about how low it was. I take it from that she was not impressed.

If I was you mate I'd just date impressionable younger women, that works on all fronts! ;)

I suspect the former if they're not into their cars unfortunately :( . Most of my female mates seem to like the new wheels though - that said, mine's completely stock so no in-your-face exhausts! :p

Ask yourself this question, do you wanna be with a girl that doesn't think "cool nice car"?

see thats my thinking, cause i also dont look 30, and when i look at some of the women my age they just look... i dont know, kinda mumsey! :search:

Think i will try and go for a nice 23-25 year old if poss, thought about taking my works van rather than the supra lol

Perfect mate, pop a matress in the back and you've got your very own Shag Van.

Me and my mate used to go everywhere in my old mans Transit with a matress in the back. We'd always ask birds if they wanted to come back to 'our place'.

Their faces when we took them back to the tranny was always priceless!

I dont think the supe is a good car for pulling, they just think you imature:D id say a jag XKR would be a better bet:search:

Immature, or youthful and exciting? There are two sides to every coin. The trick is to play it down, and not go on about it

Exactly... you say, 'Oh, it's only a Toyota' :D

Which can backfire - I've had a couple of people asking quite surprised "Oh. It's a Toyota?". As if that makes it a useless car

I don't know if they mean it in a good or bad way though. They seem genuinely interested/impressed either way :)
