garetheves
If youve got a desktop downstairs and a laptop, why do you need another desktop upstairs?? Why not just use the laptop if you only want it for internet browsing??

Conrad
I know a lot will disagree but imo you cant beet PC World for price. Their desktops start from £288 online! They're also doing this bad boy for £499.

Daston
All depends on what you want to use it for. I would sugest around 512mb to be the min these days.
terawua
I was looking for a computer for a mate, and I spotted this for 329 which is a pretty good spec.... in Tesco Extra of all places. Doesnt include a monitor, but they are peanuts these days anyway. Acer aspire t180 AMD Athlon 64 3800 CPU 160gb HDD 1gb RAM DVD-RW £329.99 I think thats not beaten even by PC world at the moment..... terawua
however, that SFF (small form factor) Shuttle is a pretty little thing...
Ian W
i'd go for 1gb of RAM if you want it to be future-proof in the slightest although it's peanuts to upgrade it anyhow.
