Sheefa
Damn, why can I never make up my mind about what to do to the Supra. First it was new front and rear bumper, then it was suspension, then fuelling with an EMU, then interior and now I'm thinking about a front bumper again! Anyways, is it hard to fit an aftermarket one that's already been fitted to another Supra, or should I pay a specialist to do it (estimated price please guys?). Any DIY guides appreciate Want to know a rough cost as it may be cheaper to get a new bumper, painted and fitted by Knight Racer altogether. Thanks, Greg
Chris and Alana
its easy, well mine was. You have 5 plastic screws on the top of the bumper under the bonnet. then 1 or 2 screws at each side of the bumper (you can get to them by unscrewing the plastic wheel arch covers infront of the wheels. then there may be sume plastic clips underneath on the bottom of the bumper holding plastic trim on. Iv had mine off about 3-4 times. it takes about 10-15mins
Guest gregg
^ yep thats pretty much the just of it.....you will prob need it painted tho, just giv it in with your car to a bodyshop and tell them to fit it while they are painting it, no bodyshop would charge you for doing that if they are going to paint it, plus prob easier to paint it while it is off the car......saves a whole lot of masking. Pot
From my experience, bumpers in general are quite simple to do, I'd happilly try my hand at mine... How much do bodyshops tend to charge for spraying?...
Pete
Remembering to disconnect the indicators of course.

Sheefa
It's already painted my cars colour which is a bonus, hence only need to fit it guys Thanks, Greg
Guest gregg
Generally most places would charge bout £120ish for it painted and fitted....depends on the quality of the place doing it and what colour etc....obviously it will cost more if you have a unique coloured car. Yeh that does always help wen it painted already, just make sure the colour match is good! It would be simple enough to do, just make sure your confident in knowing what your doing before you start undoing things (talking from experience, haha) All the best and i think that the advice givin in the thread is good enough to follow:thumbs: Gregg
SupraAyf
It's already painted my cars colour which is a bonus, hence only need to fit it guys Thanks, Greg Greg, You'll have no problems taking the old bumper off but the new one may need trimming to accommodate the FMIC and the piping. I have just done my Top Secret Facelift bumper and it needed a few inches off the area where the FMIC was located in order to fit correctly. Is your bumper new or did it originate from a different car - you may need to trim but get your old one off first and 'test & adjust' as they say to see if it fits. Hop you are well mucka:)
