All my times in the 14s were with Optimax + millers. My crappest runs were on a different occassion on 95 (all I could find within 10 miles of Pod with the fuel light on), but then again Pod was like an ice rink that day, so difficult to attribute too much blame on the fuel. I do know my terminal speeds were slightly down.

 

I run Optimax every day mainly for the cleaning properties, rather than performance benefits.

 

Oh and Millers do claim a 2.0 octane improvement, not 0.2, it's on their website somewhere.

I can't see how, when Toluene is the main active ingredient in most octane boosters. 7 litres of the stuff only gives a 2.0 increase :conf:

 

Edited to say that Millers claim an octane increase of 'two numbers' on the website - 98 to 98.2, rather than 98 to 100, is my guess.
