Guest no1_boyracer
Actually you asked for opinions, which have been given Don't know you or have any gripe with you, christ don't even have a Supra at the moment but if I knew they were genuine and it was going to save my bodyshop a lot of grief then at a push I'd go £250 but as has been said already, good fitment is worth a lot more than a logo Best of luck selling them I wasnt having a go at you - just seems funny how when fake bomex or veilside can sell for £400. then i have a set of GENUINE veilside with spats and they are only worth £200. also - everyone goes on about branded names being better as you can trust the quality - but suddenly with these - it doesnt matter if they are genuine or not. well i think that they are worth £500. they are up for sale - if someone wants them they can buy them - if not i will just keep them

jazz1
i sold my genuines for 290 long time ago and i had receipts for them, mind you i was happy and glad they went for that price and didnt get anything less
Guest no1_boyracer
you dont want veilside - so to you they arent worth much. As i said £500 is fair. remember thats for spats and skirts . they are Genuine and a real good fit. The fact that they are already drilled/ made to fit will save someone a lot of ££ in the body shop. Gamer
I asked a question - what are they worth. so far i have had totally insane suggestions - NOT the true value but offers to be stupid/ put down what i have/ guys trying it on to get them cheap. As i said i know what fakes sell for. I was wanting some fair suggestions/ offers as these are GENUINE. Guess it is too much to expect for anyone to be fair on here I am sorry if you do not like the opinions that you have been given. You are not going to get top price for these unless you find someone that is/was thinking about installing these. Expect to knock at least 30-50% off the retail price minus the VAT. Also I might add, they are not in perfect condition and that should also be taken into consideration. Given the choice though, I think you will find that someone who is looking to buy the GENIUNE article will not want to buy them second hand unless the price was cheap enough to make them consider it as there would be no after sales support buying second hand. Al Massey
its not just embossed - its coloured into the fibreglass too. So its not just stamped in because they came out the mold. these ARE GENUINE is it me or do these look like stickers?

Alright, this (along with most of your threads) will degenerate into a shit thread. If I can give a little advice which I hope you will think about before any of your future threads: 1) something is only worth what people are willing to pay 2) if you want to know what something is worth, look on ebay/autotrader/parts sold on the forum 3) if you ask for advice, you may not like some/all of the answers, prepare yourself for this and try not to argue it, it will make you look bad. These three simple thought processes could make your perception on the forum much better. Take it or leave it buddy.

Guest no1_boyracer
when i ask for reasonable suggestions - i expect that - reasonable. some answear have been fair - others are just SHIT. I have checked out the prices of some fakes but i didnt know what the real ones go for! thats why i asked. comments like 'they are only worth £200 because i dont like veilside' is going to get a response. I have just found the veilside web site and they are selling for way more than i originally thought. plus there will be inport duty, VAT, plus a lot in shipping costs. As i said i am looking for £500. if they sell they sell - if not i dont mind putting them on my other car
garetheves
Originals cost 500 brand spanking new, how can a pair of second hand ones, painted and chipped be worth more. Seriously you are looking at 200-300 absolute maximum. No disrespect to anyone with Veilside but they are a little bit commonplace now and that is probably why Bomex, Top Secret etc etc sell for more money, even if they are copies. Guru
Are they gonna be solid gold underneath that paint or is it just me being tight and thinking they are only worth £200-250?
Guest no1_boyracer
Are they gonna be solid gold underneath that paint or is it just me being tight and thinking they are only worth £200-250? when i was looking for some spats - yes just spats - i spoke to knight racer and was told that spats alone would be £175. here are a set of not just spats but GENUINE veilside side skirts for £500. It works out at £125 a piece. Thinking that they are already made to fit/ drilled etc so would require minimal work to attach them. think that is a fair price. but as i said - if someone wants them they can - if not il keep them

JustGav
The whole fact boils down to.. 2 magic figures... 1 - What seller will take as a minimum 2 - What the buyer will pay as a maximum If these two figures aren't in sync, then someone else will attempt. If 1 is too high and 2 is too low then they won't sell.

NO VAT OR DUTY I have never paid vat or duty on any items bought from the US and Japan EVER!! they are sent as 2nd hand items or samples. In addition, dusty does very good delivery. You deliberately misquoted me which I don't appreciate! quote the whole lot or not at all.
garetheves
plus delivery form the states plus insurance (prob several hunderd!!), plus VAT, plus customs duty No because as Lewis stated, if they are sent as second hand items, then there is no VAT or import duty to pay, and at the end of the day, with yours, we are dealing with a USED, NOT 100% CONDITION ITEM, therefore worth nowhere near the NEW price.
