Guest Nicholas
Well she's gone away to have a few things done. AEM EMS ECU & 5bar map sensor fitted and mapped AEM Wideband fitted AEM Tru-Boost gauge/controller fitted I've got myself a new leather gear gator, new gear knob, new mats and am gonna go get myself a Nakamichi CD player to fit also. I'll be getting her back on the 20th and as most of you know she was called Sally I think with a new ECU it's only right that she gets a new name so Jessica it is Nick. Paul thinks it's somewhere between a T66 and a T88. It kicks in at 4500rpm and gives a big kick I've only ran it at 1.18 bar though. I'll get it on the rollers when it's all finished to see what she's making. Should be good at 1.5 bar.

Guest dee_rz
Awesome is that spool at 4500 if it is it seems a big turbo and yep at a guest somewhere between the 66 and a t88 sounds right, look forward to seeing the dyno print out and the plot of the graph are you going to raise the rpm limit a little

I've been looking for one of those 10,000 TRD rev limit things that just connect in they seem to be rare though and I read somewhere that they have been discontinued. Guest Nicholas
Who is mapping it? Nakamichi ? Never heard of those. What made you choose that make? I've always had Nakamichi Jake amazing sound quality, they look very bland and have no fancy lights though so depends on your taste I think. Bijal of futuremotorsports will be mapping the AEM. Thanks for the spli-ctrl assembly by the way, arrived last week!
Guest Nicholas
Quick note to say if a certain ASHBHP gets his arse in gear I may even end up with a T51 SPL I can see you watching the thread
Guest dee_rz
That would be great i'm thinking of getting the trd speedo and rpm clock, i not saying your thinking of 10k rpm limit but i wouldn't go anywhere above 7200 thats where i'm putiing mine at max, supras engines are not revvers like the rb motors or honda lumps and unless you build everything including valve spring retainers etc and more then don't even think about going anywhere near that rpm, revs and power kill rods and pistons.... well that and poor tuning. Sounds like you have some nice plans hope you get on with that turbo and it's not to big 4500 spool is similar to a t88.

Guest dee_rz
You'll be fine with that once it's mapped you may find it may come in early than that and with a good 7200rpm max you'll have a sweet power curve and a brut just hold on when it hits
