Is it a matter of buying some alcantara fabric and using some sort of fabric glue to stick it down over the panels?

 

Obviously there would be a lot of cutting out and stretching etc etc

I dont like using that, becuase when you do rouned edges you can see the cut lines...i was against FLOCKING, but its grown on me and does look smart on a supe! and its easy to do, glue the dash, pour it on, push it down, tip the rest of and hey presto! lovely looking dash for a good price:)

Thinking about revamping my dash as after 16 years of wear, the rubber coating is looking a bit tired now.

 

I like the idea of a flocked or alcantara dash, but seeing as that may cost a fair bit to be done. It's sticky back flock material, maybe worth a go?

pretty damn good work there- especially round the ignition switch which seems difficult to cover, but you did and very neatly too

How about the main dash it's self re-trimmed with black alcantran with frech red stiching and a black gloss dash panel?

 

I think that the reverse contrast would look better and it would be more practical to clean.
