BMW,s and there drivers

Plenty of bad drivers driving all marques of cars. It's just the BMW incidents that get remembered.

I believe the notoriety of the BMW badge stems back to the yuppie London-set of the early 80s, for whom the 3-series Beemer was the status symbol of choice. It just so happened that a lot of these type of people were also aggressive drivers, hence the origins of the infamy.

ok so why do we all hate them .

it doesnt matter what model they all seem to have this gotta get past everyone at any cost attitude

I don't subscribe to this theory either. Part of my problem is that my wife has one and i'm out in it a lot myself.

It's weird though, when a car gets your "attention" on the road it does seem to be a tosser in a BMW quite a lot of the time.

I think that generally driving standards are shit and there are now more BMW's than ever on the road. It's a mixture of the two trends for me.

I've never really noticed any difference between BMW drivers and every other make of car on the road. There are of course, the usual bunch of posers who'll buy a nice one simply as a status symbol then drive around like a moron, but you get that with loads of different makes.

my experience of bmw drivers:

they seem to think they can cut in front of you without indicating and dangerously

the bigger varieties i.e. x5 and big 7 series etc are driven by women who have no clue how to control it yet they drive it because their rich husband got them one.

any young guy in a bmw seems to think he can beat you in a race.
