Supra ST Myster
i had the same noise, when i changed over to single after a quick blast when i was testing it, one of the coolant pipes came off and drained very low, lucky i was close to home so i could limp it back but the water pump starting makeing a hell of a nose and it ran dry, took a good few mins after filling it back up for the water pump to settle back down and run fine again, so have you let it run for a bit? colsoop
Hey Emin I let it run for a few minutes, not very long though, do you reckon a short drive or more time idling might help ?
Supra ST Myster
i would take it for a quick trip round the block to see if it clears it, wont do it any harm as its now full of coolant.

colsoop
I think i was a bit premature there (no change there ) The noise is back , what i am going to do is bleed the system fully and see how it goes. I may get a gargae to use their vacuum system just to be sure as it is due an oil change anyway.
colsoop
Right i tried bleeding the noise is still here i am going to get a local garage to have a look and see if they can bleed it better than me . Note to self - leave things alone !
uk-rich
when i do a coolant change i jack the front up(high as poss), filling it slowly never had a problem
bondango
A high pitched noise is usually a intake manifold Joint/gasket leak. You can usually diagnose this by using a WD40 spray and spraying it around diiferent parts of the intake, the noise will diasppear for a few seconds when you hit the correct spot. colsoop
Cheers mate, i will take the tb and intake back off next week, im waiting for my bloody back to recover from fitting it all My engine bay is dirty and unshiny as it is a test bed for parts, so your engine bay can be nice and shiny

SupraStar 3000
Col. Sorry I can't help, useless with technical stuff, but try finding a section of rigid tube and use it like a doctors stethoscope to pin-point the area of noise. I'll even dress up as a Nurse if you want
colsoop
I have cracked it, it wasn't sealing propely on the manifold to throttle body face due to a bit of powdercoat on the edge of the bolt hole that i had missed.
