Is that why you're still wearing it even though your back's now fine? :rlol:

Actually, I did wear it whilst still suffering from slight distress and on holiday in Spain.

I went to a restaurant with it on so I didn't look like Mr blobby.

Was told I looked very toned :)

It was a shame all the flab was pushed into my arse cheeks :) :rlol:

Also, it hurts more when im in a chair, and less when im in a car, is this because in the car your constantly moving? also same for Sh4agging :sex: :yahoo:

So there you go, thats the solution, more of that and your back problems are history and it will keep you toned ;)

A few times a day everyday and you'll be fine in no time ;)

Here's a thought: you can drive (I assume) and you like cars, and it doesn't hurt whilst driving, so get a driving job: taxi, mini-cab, bus, coach...or go the full-on peaked cap chauffeur route.

If you really want to keep doing something in healthcare, see about driving the passenger transport ambulances. If there's nothing on the island, there _must_ be something in Portsmouth.

If you're having trounble sleeping, try rolling a towel like a swiss roll with a long belt through the centre. Tie it around your waist when you go to bed. This will support the arch/lordosis in your spine. Try it. It worked for me.

Driving was the worst I could do when I injured my back. It was getting in and out, pressing on the brake and clutch pedal that got me screaming.

You can get your life back. I did.

ive started loosing weight the last two months, not much actual weight, only about half a stone but i look so much thinner.

The pain comes and goes, ive got a permenant ache but the stabbing pain comes and goes.

nothing really makes it worse/better

Your weight loss would be down to muscle atrophy. A bad back will limit your movement which means muscles don't get flexed. As they're not being used they waste away. The solution is not to start eating more as the body will then store it as FAT because you're not using it for energy. Somehow you need to recover mobility and start exercising. Both abs and back muscles help support your spine.
