Jake
I'm looking to get cable broadband and wondering whether to get the cable TV and binning Sky. The only problem is that I really like Sky Plus, but I see NTL now have this thing called 'NTL On Demand'. It's not a recorder like Sky+ but they make it sound like you can watch most programs any time you want (after the show is first aired of course). If any of you guys have NTL:OD can you tell me - does it really work like that or do they really only have a fraction of shows available for later viewing? Guest mk47
Jake ive got NTL, and the on demand is quite good because you can watch the major shows i.e. BBC 1 you can watch eastenders when its finished and can catch up on upto a week back etc. You cant watch stuff from other channels i.e. sky one though, just channel 1-5 and BBC3 and some other tv shows which sometimes you have to pay for i.e. little britain series 1. You can start/stop/fast forward/rewind movies you purchase through on demand also and they start whenever you like, and you get 24 hours to watch it. Want any more info i can check for you

It isnt really as good if you watch more shows on sky channels really because you cant catch up on them whereas on sky + youve got the option to record etc. Plus its just the major tv shows that you can watch. Broadbands fine though ive had it for years and only ever had a problem with it once hth
