RedM
- I'll celebrate the Chinese New Year when it's quieter and prices aren't inflated. Fitter looking women too. We are staying in with loads of alcohol and enough Indian food to feed an army.

Jake
I'm not a big fan of NYE and my Mrs hates it. We usually go out most years but it's always a PITA really so we're just gonna stay in, watch a movie, have a few drinks and a take-away. I will be working or should I say helping my Sarah, she has a gig in York tonight, however £300 for 1hr 30 mins work mind you sitting about aswell, probably come off stage at 12.30 ish. What kinda gig is that Mark? She's a singer? In a band or solo?

SUPRASUZUKI
Early night and very little alcohol for me. I bought two tickets (for me and my lad) to the Liverpool game tomorrow (he's a fan, not me). I also volunteered to drive the minibus for the local band of Liverpool fans. He's now decided he doesn't want to go, so I'm up at 5am to drive up there and back to watch two teams I have no interest in. Fan-fucking-tastic. That's the last time he gets that 'treat' for Christmas.

See if I can pick anything up along the way Have a happy new year everybody Well I now know how you felt. there is no closure yet, but I think this is what is going to be confirmed. So instead of spending time with the only person I wanted to be with I will be home alone, except for a 16 yr old Bushmills and maybe a 30 yr old Jamiesons, if I finish the Bushmills....... jamesmark
What kinda gig is that Mark? She's a singer? In a band or solo? She is a solo singer, been doing it for 7 years ish (first few years doing the pub scene). Tonight is an Ex servicemans club. Some people hate it some people love it but putting her into X Factor next year, so here is hoping if no luck there as the stuff that has been on the X factor has a lot to be desired then she will continue to do what she enjoys. She has won quite a few national/regional competitions but has never made the jump due to family comitments.

jamesmark
Cool! Don't be one of those pushy boyfriend's being carried away from the room saying "sing em another song Dela" though. No way, Sarah won a competion years ago 20,000 went in for it she got to the last 5 and told them to F off as was telling her what to wear and when to wear it and telling her how to sing and when to sing it. However it will be the same even now with pushy people but she has got a few more years behind her. It is her carreer not mine, she is the boss and i like my balls where they are lol Going to get Ric (carbonangel) to do a website for her and I am going to capture a clip of her on stage, will post it when done. geoffvalenti
I'm not a fan of New Years Eve. TBH I can't see what all the fuss is about. You can't get near the bar in a pub, if you manage to get in without a ticket that is. When you do, the disco is so fcuking loud that you couldn't talk, even if you wanted to. So you're standing around, with people pushing past you, constantly spilling their beer over your clothes, and always in the bloody way of somebody, because you invariably can't get a seat unless you get there at 6 pm. If you do decide to get their early enough to get sat down for the evening, by the time midnight comes along, you've been there so bloody long that you're too stoned to know what's going on I only enjoy NYE when I'm playing in a band, I always feel much happier that side of the stage whatever the occasion TBH . Sadly discos have killed most of the work these days (Grrrrrrr! Jezzy ) So I'm going to stay in with the wife, have a few drinks and either play with the wii or PS2 or watch Tokyo Drift, then maybe Two Lane Blacktop Happy New Year mkivsupra.net

As i look out from the Dj booth i always find myself thinking 'fuck i'd hate to be out there!'.

KaoriFan
I think someone should try and have sex from one year to another. Rick Wakeman was on a documentary and said he did just that. started New Years Eve, and carried on through into the next year. then he saw something that made him go 'limp' and he lost all interest in finishing edited to add: with all those long keyboard solo's in the 70s maybe he could last the whole 365 days
