Homer
Anyone know if anywhere supplies a 4inch 2nd decat pipe that will fit to a 3inch downpipe (Same flange as the stock exhuast). I can't use the BL pipe as this only works with the BL downpipe (Won't fit my turbo setup, plus costs over £1k!!)
Ric
cant that place custom make you one, RSP was it or somthing?
Homer
cant that place custom make you one, RSP was it or somthing? Not sure who you mean? The one that did the work on my downpipe are just a general fabricators, they can't make exhausts (plus it'd cost a fortune as they're not cheap!) Thanks mate Homer, you could try Turbotfit, they can get anything fabricated. They were my 1st thought (well not them exactly, but the company they use), but having seen some of their exhuasts it doesn't appear they can make mandrel bends. Will give them a call anyhow. Hayward and Scott could prob do it. Nice one Wez. It won't be the cheapest option but I expect they're one of the few places that can bend 4inch pipe! Pig
Why dont you get a few made if they are so rare. Would that help decrease the cost per item. Where did gamer / CJ get the one for the orange beast??

Cheers Jamie, don't suppose if you know if they can make mandrel bends on this size pipe? The only 4in pipe I've seen of theirs was the straight-through pipe CJ had, this was welded bits of straight pipe (Not what I'm after). Will give them a call in the new year regardless... JamieP
Yea they have all the bends and cut and weld...id be supprised if you find anyone that bends 4":)

Now that I think about it, the BL pipe might even be a welded job. The only people that are likely to have that level of kit are going to be the Hayward and Scott type places. RobSheffield
Having only seen a 'full race' branded 4" pipe, iirc that was cut and welded.
MONKEYmark
the bl ones cut n welded.look a good bit of kit but dont think they £1000 thought they were about $800 i lent mine to a member who got a local fabricator to mock up a set think they were about £200 or so
Homer
It was £1k+ for the dp and mp, but yeah I know what you mean Mark. £200 is more like the sort of money I'd expect to pay for a bit of 4inch tube Lets see how it goes!
