After a new IC, is going single the only other option??

Kopite
Have you taken the stock twins as far you can go? I.e. some cams, emanage etc?
CardiffSupra
Someone asked the same question the other week, Think the outcome was bigger turbos, Hybrid or Single.

Jake
Who'd want horrible laggy unreliable hybrids? I'd much rather have a small single.
Jim_1979
mmm... think I'll sort out the cosmetic side of things, then save some £££ for a single

CardiffSupra
If you have big brakes you need a Big single
Jim_1979
I think the cosmetic side of things is gonna be this years project... and will totally drain my funds to death!... lol. This year cosmetic... next year single?
Sheefa
Who'd want horrible laggy unreliable hybrids? I'd much rather have a small single. Mine certainly don't feel horrible or laggy thank you Jake Yes, I would prefer to spend the money on a small single, but my hybrids are running very, very well right now. Plus, costs associated for a small single compared to hybrids is obviously greater. New injectors, something to control fuelling and ignition timing etc. I'd deffo go for a brake upgrade first Jim. UK spec or some nice AP/d2s or something Greg
hogmaw
You got wheels & suspension sorted? RLTC?
Jake
Mine certainly don't feel horrible or laggy thank you Jake Depends what you're comparing them to. UK spec and hybrid turbos are much slower spooling than the good old Jap ceramics. I'm glad you're happy with yours but I wouldn't have them as a gift. No offence like - just my personal opinion. Jim_1979
You got wheels & suspension sorted? RLTC? nah... still got the stock 16's. Wheels are on my list!
Sheefa
No offence taken Jake. I can't really compare them mate as I had them on my car when I purchased it. But they feel great, pull really well, and I really can't detect any noticeable lag! Then again, I have driven a 5.25 5 Series D.Turbo BMW for a while!
