Think I've blown another SLD

On the way back from Thor yesterday my car wouldn't go above 114mph. It doesn't matter at what boost, or which gear the car is in, it always cuts out at exactly 114mph.

I'm assuming the problem is the Speed Limit Defender and that the reason for it cutting out at 114mph instead of 112mph is that the circumference of my tyres is slightly different to standard, does that sound likely?

So what can I do about this SLD problem? This is my third one in a year! I'm sure it's fitted OK, all soldered joints and a good earth but I suppose I'd better check it anyway.

Have you tried it today?

It seems to be a firly common thing for SLD's to possibly 'spike' during start up, and lock up, (not delimit). I've had it on mine a couple of times during the past couple of years. If you simply turn off the engine, leave it a couple of minutes, then restart, you may find it's all beck to normal.

I'm not saying it's right, but it does happen. There was a thread on here some time ago, and a few people have experienced the same thing. It doesn't seem to relate to one manufacturer either. It seems fairly common.
